According to the International Game Fish Association more saltwater world records have been established in the Florida Keys than any other angling destination on the globe. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean’s Florida Straits on one side and the Gulf of Mexico’s Florida Bay on the other, the Williamson Oceanfront Estate is situated in the very heart of the “Sport Fishing Capital of the World”. These warm waters are literally teeming with more than 600 species of fish, and anglers worldwide have long known the lure of Islamorada's incomparable waters.

The Mansion is situated just a short boat ride away from the reef which is located four miles from shore. Outside the reef, the cobalt blue water plunges from depths beginning at 15 feet to 2500 or more. The Gulf Stream is easily accessible beginning just 8-12 miles offshore, and the Bahamas are a mere 60 miles away. Colorful Florida Keys charter fishing boats captained by seasoned skippers search the deep ocean waters, riffs, sea mounts, and famous Gulf Stream current for sailfish, blue & white marlin, swordfish, mahi-mahi, delectable wahoo, and sushi bound blackfin & yellowfin tuna. You can also try your hand at landing any number of species of feisty sharks, hefty amber jacks, succulent cobia, or take home a limit of black grouper and delectable yellowtail snapper which can be taken to local restaurants and prepared by expert chefs or thrown on the grill back at the Estate.
