The main feature is the Mansion’s large swimming pool which can be heated or chilled. There is also a beautiful marble spa for the ultimate in relaxation. Italian marble encompasses the entire deck area with plenty of chairs, tables, stone benches and a native coral knee high wall on which to lounge. If you wish to avoid the sun but still be in on the action you can escape to the poolside Cheeca hut and still enjoy the marvelous views that overlook the pool area and ocean and yet remain in total shady comfort while lounging on one of the sofas or chairs underneath the Cheeca hut fans. At night fire up the gas tiki torches to illuminate the area and complete the authentic island ambiance.

Enjoy a cool refreshing drink while you relax in one of the many plantation chairs under the coconut trees, wiggle your toes in the snow white sand and gaze across the turquoise-blue ocean. The private beach is the perfect place for the kids to build sand castles, play a game of horseshoes, or for you to just sit and stare. If it all becomes too much for you then just grab your favorite book and drop into a hammock that hangs between two coconut trees overlooking the beautiful emerald green water. (Use caution though it is very difficult to resist taking a nap.)

Fish and snorkel right off the pier and observe colorful tropical fish, the occasional tarpon, mangrove snappers, spiny lobsters, rays, and other species among the coral rock reef underneath.
