Islamorada, Florida Keys

On your doorstep lies some of the best fly and saltwater spin casting fishing on the planet. Haul in monster tarpon or pole through scenic flats in search of the next world record bonefish or elusive permit. Redfish, speckled trout, ravenous monster snook, sawfish, sharks, mangrove snappers and a myriad of other species inhabit this area in record numbers and a bent rod is all but a "sure thing". For those who really want to experience solitude, Kayak fishing trips can be arranged to remote pristine locations such as Hell's Bay where monster trophies rarely see a fisherman's hook.

For those unfamiliar with the term, "back country", it's the shallow water that ranges from five feet in depth to mere inches on the "flats" that surround Islamorada. This area stretches for endless miles encompassing the Florida Bay and beautiful Everglades National Park, (the 3^rd largest national park in the United States). This vast fishing paradise contains one and a half million acres of totally protected and undeveloped drop dead gorgeous emerald green sparkling waters sprinkled with hundreds of mangrove islands that are inhabited only by the myriad of roseate spoonbills, white pelicans, herons, eagles, and other birds that inhabit this pristine habitat. The entire southern tip of Florida with its sugary white beaches, winding Everglades rivers, canals, and lakes are included in the park and available for fishing.
